Midnight Chocolate Death Trifle

1 Box red velvet cake mix (things for the cake mix, as instructed on box)

1 Box instant chocolate pudding mix (milk for the mix)

1 container cool whip

1 chocolate crunchy candy bar, crumbled (I used a whatchamacallit, but you can use twix or anything you want)



This will have to be refrigerated overnight, keep in mind.

Bake the cake and let cool completely. Cut the cake into small cubes. While the cake is baking, mix the pudding and put in the fridge. Once cake is cubed and pudding is set, line a trifle dish or other glass bowl with one layer of cake cubes. Top with one layer of chocolate pudding (about half of it). Then top that with half the container of cool whip. Top with a handful of candybar crumbles. Repeat the same sequence one last time. Put all the remaining candy crumbles on top. Keep cold overnight until 25-30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
