Pecan Cranberry Cream Dip

Pour oneb ag of whole cranberries in pot and put on stovetop with half cup water and two tblsp sugar, stir often and cook on Med heat until berries pop and release juice. add in 1 cup crushed pecans and stir for 3 minutes, add optional two tsp of fruit juice (orange, lemon, etc). Let sit off heat for ten to fifteen minutes, then pour over one whole 8oz block of Cream cheese, serve with crackers.
